Despite the fact that Nvidia's found a way to make its naming scheme even more irritating — its new $289 GPU is actually called the "GeForce GTX 560 Ti with 448 Cores" — the card itself has been met with generally positive reviews from the likes of AnandTech and Tom's Hardware. The 560 Ti 448 is built on the 40nm GF110 GPU (Fermi), and inside it's got a 320-bit memory interface, 448 stream processors, 56 texture units, 40 ROPs, and a core clocked to 732MHz; in simpler terms, it's basically a slightly toned down version of the GeForce GTX 570 at a lower cost. The good news is that the 560 Ti 448 measures up well to the 570, with reviewers praising its general performance and overclocking potential, and the card also competes closely...
